No. The service is absolutely free for all Lanka Bell CDMA subscribers. And there is no rental
 
How much will it cost?
For messages sent to the Lanka Bell network the cost will be Rs.2.50 + vat and to other networks Rs. 4.00 + vat per message. There will be no charge for the airtime
 
What is duration of the message?
30 seconds
 
How do I send the message?
Just dial STAR * and the recipient’s number and follow instructions.
 
If the recipient’s number is a fixed line you have to add the area code before the 7 digit number
 
Can I schedule the recording for a future date?
You can schedule the message for a period of 30 days from the date of the recording
 
How do I know whether the recipient got the message?
You will receive a delivery report when the message is delivered.
 
How will the recipient get the message?
They will receive it in the form of an incoming call.
 
What if they can’t answer the phone at that time?
6 attempts will be made to deliver the message after the message is recorded
 
Will the recipient have to pay?
No.
